By using Avilo, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

Who can use Avilo

You must be 18 or older to use Avilo. By using the service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.

What Avilo is for

Avilo is a platform for genuine, in-person social connection. It is designed to help real people make real plans with other real people nearby. It is not a dating app, though nothing stops friendships or more from forming naturally.

Acceptable use

You agree to use Avilo in good faith. You must not: create fake profiles; harass, threaten or harm other users; use the platform for commercial purposes without permission; attempt to circumvent safety or verification systems; misuse personal information obtained through the platform.

Safety and real meetups

Avilo is designed for real-life meetups. You are responsible for your own safety when meeting people. We strongly recommend meeting in public places, informing someone you trust about your plans, and trusting your instincts. Avilo's IRL confirmation system builds accountability, but cannot guarantee your safety — that's shared between you and the platform.

Content you create

You own the content you post. By posting it, you grant Avilo a non-exclusive licence to display it on the platform. You are responsible for what you post. Avilo may remove content that violates these terms without notice.

Account termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You can delete your account at any time from within the app.

Limitation of liability

Avilo is provided "as is". We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability to you will not exceed AUD $100.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in New South Wales courts.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Continued use of Avilo after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
